The display cases, housing some of the funeral remains recently discovered during the archaeological digs in Spina, consist of a tubular steel structure ad a closed base of lacquered laminboard. The entire display area is enclosed in extra-transparent plate glass.
Easy access to the display cases is provided by a top-hinged front panel with specially designed and patented closing mechanism.
The lighting is provided by ceiling-mounted fluorescent tubes screened with a double plate glass shield with one regular and one stratified pane of glass, separated by filter cloth.
The fitting inside were designed specifically for each individual group of exhibits, with raised steps at various heights and individual display cases for the most important items on show.
