Case
Large display cases to house drawings, sculptures, small paintings, ceramics, archaeological remains and small and large art objects in general.
Each display case has a 4.50 m glass face without uprights. The front surface consists of three extra-transparent shatterproof plate glass panels supported at the base and top, joined together with 30° bevelling to create a perfectly airtight, flat surface. The panels slide on nylon-coated ball bearings.
The display cases are opened by means of a motor-driven device which moves the central panel outward until the side panels are free to slide towards the centre into the space formerly occupied by the central panel. The patented opening/closing system includes safety devices designed by our technicians that ensure the panes are not damaged during opening and closing.
Two lighting systems are used inside the display area: indirect light with low U. V. emission screened fluorescent strips, and optical fibre lights. The two systems can be used together or separately.
